Welcome back to the Canberra Raiders Cup Wrap Up where Round 2 of the season occurred over the weekend with big scores across all four games.

Belco United Sharks v Tuggeranong Bushrangers

The Sharks have gone back-to-back to start the season off in style with a strong win against the Bushrangers 38 - 18.

Sharks centre Regan Carr scored a double for the side while halfback Jordan Holten-Williams successfully converted five out of Sharks total seven tries.

Meanwhile, for the Bushrangers, halfback Trae Bennentto successfully converted two of out Tuggeranong’s three total tries and scored a penalty goal.

A special mention for Bushies winger Hardy Glover who made his first grade debut in this match and scored the first try for Tuggeranong.

In Round 3, the Sharks will have the bye while the Bushies will travel to Gungahlin to face off against the Bulls.

Goulburn City Bulldogs v Queanbeyan Blues

The Blues are back in the winner’s circle, winning their match away from home 38 - 22

Blues’ centre, Jamie Mazzarolkotz, had a field day in Goulburn, scoring four of the Blues’ seven tries for the day and successfully converting five

Meanwhile, Goulburn second-rower Mark Morrow scored a double; however, it just wasn’t enough.

In Round 3, Goulburn will be travelling into Canberra to play the West Belco Warriors at Raiders Belconnen and the Blues will host the Roos in a Queanbeyan derby at Seffiert Oval

Yass Magpies v Queanbeyan Roos

The Roos are continuing their dominance with a win against the Yass Magpies at Walker Park.

The Bell brothers contributed well for the Magpies, with both Cody and Kaidan scoring a try each and Kaidan converting both.

However, it wasn’t enough to get them over the line with the Roos winning the match 20 - 12 thanks to contributions from prop Troy Whiley, second-rower Jesse Dent and interchange Michael Gordon.

In Round 3, Yass will travel to Phillip Oval to face the Rams while the Roos will face the Blues.

West Belco Warriors v Woden Valley Rams

The Rams have made a strong start to their season after their first win in the 2026 season against the Warriors, 26 - 14.

Rams halfback Josh Fattore and interchange player Sam Gash were standouts for Woden in this match, with both players scoring a try each and converting 2 tries each out of the Rams' four total scored.

Meanwhile, for West Belco centre Jstar Taupau starred for their side, scoring two tries; however, it just wasn’t enough to get them over the line.

In Round 3, the Warriors will be looking for their first win of the season when they host the Bulldogs while the Rams will host the Magpies.

Looking into next week…

All teams have a bye this coming weekend, with it being ANZAC weekend.
