Sydney School Handball Competition Term 1: A Showcase of Skill and Sportsmanship

Edward Lane

The Term 1 Sydney School Handball Competition for the North and East conferences was a massive success, with over 150 schools invited to participate. A total of 109 students joined the event, showcasing their incredible passion for the sport. The energy on the court was contagious, with players displaying impressive handball skills and exceptional sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The event was capped off with a well-deserved 118 awards being handed out to celebrate the dedication and hard work of the participants. Huge congratulations go to the North and East School Champions: Willoughby Public and Rose Bay Public, who took home the top honours for their outstanding performances.

The competition has set a high standard for the rest of the year, and it’s clear that the future of handball in Sydney is in good hands.
