Caboolture safely booked their place in the next round on Tuesday night with a controlled 4-0 victory over AC Carina at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex. Facing lower-division opposition, the Snakes were expected to take command of the contest, and they did exactly that, rarely looking troubled throughout the evening.
The breakthrough arrived in the 13th minute. After an initial effort was blocked inside the area, Orlando Lopez reacted quickest to the rebound, finishing smartly to give Caboolture an early lead.
From there, the Snakes settled comfortably into the match and continued to dictate proceedings. Lopez struck again in the 29th minute to double the advantage, ensuring Caboolture entered halftime firmly in control at 2-0.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with the Snakes controlling possession and limiting any real threat from AC Carina. Their third goal arrived in the 72nd minute when Leo Robinson produced a composed finish from the edge of the box, effectively ending any remaining doubt about the outcome. Caboolture then added a fourth in stoppage time through Michael Holden, putting the finishing touch on an emphatic and professional performance.
The result continues a positive run of form and sends Caboolture confidently into the next stage of the cup competition.
